1. You must be 18 or older
OmeVidChat is strictly for adults. By using it you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If we believe you are a minor, we will terminate your access and may report the activity to the relevant authorities.
2. It's video. Strangers will see you.
OmeVidChat pairs you with random strangers over live video and text. You must keep a working, uncovered camera and a microphone on. Anyone you are matched with can see and hear you.
3. Prohibited conduct
- No nudity, sexual content, or sexual solicitation.
- No content involving minors, ever. Reports of child sexual abuse material are forwarded to NCMEC / law enforcement.
- No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, or violence.
- No illegal activity, scams, spam, or advertising.
- No recording other users without their consent where that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
4. Moderation, logging & bans
To keep the service safe, moderators may view live sessions and the current text of a conversation, and may permanently ban an IP address. We log connection metadata (such as IP address and timestamps); we periodically capture still images (screenshots) from your camera while you are using the service; and we keep a log of the text messages you send in chats. These records are stored together with your IP address for a limited period. We may retain this information and share it with law enforcement when required by law or to investigate abuse. We do not continuously record video.
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind. You use it at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for the conduct of other users or for any damages arising from your use of the service.
6. Reporting
Use the ⚠ Report button during a chat to flag a user to moderators. To report serious abuse or illegal content, contact: replace-with-your-abuse-email.
